The article examines the role of the mahalla institution in ensuring socio-political stability in society. The processes of providing social assistance, promoting civic engagement, and supporting the local economy through the mahalla are illustrated with practical examples. In line with the key priorities outlined in the Address of President Sh. M. Mirziyoyev dated December 26, 2025, the article highlights the participation of mahalla residents in public administration and the formation of social capital.
