LANGUAGE AND SPEECH UNITS: TYPES OF SPEECH COMMUNICATION

This article discusses language and speech elements and their role in shaping speech communication. Research conducted in world linguistics on this issue and scholars' opinions are also presented. Additionally, speech communication is explained as being divided into two main types – formal and informal styles. The formal speech communication style is classified into four functional groups, and its study in oral and written speech is discussed.
