Abstract

In this article, under the heading of ethics and metaphysics, Gokalp's social and political teachings include not only analytical, but also normative elements based on moral philosophy. Gokalp explained the subject of ethics by saying that the concern for doing good is not seen as simpler than the concern for seeking truth. He emphasized that the existing morality in society is not enough for people, and that scientific ethics is necessary.
