Abstract

The English language has undergone significant changes due to historical circumstances in Latin and French, and this article is based on the study of the syntactic and lexical influence of the above-mentioned languages ​​on English, focusing on the period of Britain, the Norman Conquest and the Renaissance. The study uses a diachronic approach to analyze texts from Old English to Modern English and examines the sociolinguistic factors that contributed to these changes.
