The article examines the role of psychological compatibility in successful marriage, stressing its importance for marital stability, emotional well-being, and social harmony. Harmony of character, temperament, and values is seen as a decisive factor. Theories of J. Gottman, D. Myers, L. Obukhova, and Abu Nasr al-Farabi are combined with modern approaches. The effectiveness of premarital psychotests such as MBTI and the Big Five is emphasized, showing their role in strengthening mutual understanding and family stability.
