It is well-known that Abd al-Rahman Jami is a celebrated thinker who, in his time and today, is recognised as a great figure in the world of poetry. His works never lose their relevance. It should be emphasised that Jami’s works are not only in the domain of language, literature and epic poetry, but also show the interconnection between philosophical theory, exemplary moral conduct and the stages of spiritual development. This article is aimed at presenting Jami’s vast scholarly potential on the basis of sources. It is known that the works of this great scholar were written in his homeland and were acknowledged by many scholars of his time.
