Abstract

This article examines the sociocultural and philosophical dimensions of human-robot interaction in Isaac Asimov’s “The Caves of Steel”. Through a close reading of characters, themes, and social constructs, the study reveals Asimov’s attempt to reconcile scientific rationality and human emotion, positioning writer’s work as one of the foundational texts in social science fiction.
