The article approaches civil society from a new perspective. Theories about civil society traditionally explain it as a set of specific organizations and institutions. However, this approach cannot fully cover the process of formation of specific civic activity, social responsibility and collective consciousness in society. Therefore, in this study, civil society is interpreted not only as a field, but also as a process.
