This article examines the role of the epistolary genre in Uzbek literature and its artistic and
aesthetic potential through the examples of works from different periods and literary trends. The study analyzes
the function of the epistolary style in plot development, revealing the inner world of characters, and expressing
the author's artistic intention. It also highlights the transformation of the letter genre in modern literature and
its emergence in new forms. The analysis shows that the epistolary genre in Uzbek literature serves not only as
a literary device but also as an important aesthetic phenomenon that enables a deeper understanding of human
psychology, preserves spiritual connections between generations, and reflects contemporary social issues.
