Due to the Aral Sea’s water level dropping by more than two meters, shipping in the Muynak and Kazakhstan bays was suspended. As a result, all fish processing facilities of the Muynak Fish Canning Plant were cut off from industrial zones. Only lakes located in the lower reaches of the Amu Darya river were utilized.
