This article is aimed at determining the importance of idiomatic units in group conversation and public speaking, and the role of attracting public attention, and in order to come to clear analytical solutions and conclusions, the public speeches of the US President Mr. Joe Biden are the object of study. and speeches were received. Also, with the help of them, the concept of idiomatic unit, its role in solving emerging problems in linguistics and its media properties, the role of idiomatic units in attracting public attention are analyzed paradigmatically and syntactically
