In Uzbek literature, the concept of solitude is often used to express a specific emotional state or interpersonal connection. For example, proverbs and sayings reflect the meaning and impact of separation or loss. Linguistic means here primarily serve to convey a person’s psychological state or social experience. In Uzbek folk proverbs, the psychological effect of solitude is highlighted: “Solitude is the anguish of one’s own heart,” “The pain of separation – tears shed alone.” In literary texts, the concept of solitude is often described through figurative expressions, metaphors, and artistic devices.
