Abstract

This article examines the role and types of transfer in media discourse. It emphasizes that transfer is a means of conveying a concept or meaning to another concept or meaning. The article explains types of transfer such as metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche, and personification with examples. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of transfer in media discourse for enhancing the impact, creativity, and memorability of messages. The article demonstrates how transfer is used in news, advertising, and films with examples.
