This article provides an in-depth analysis of the psychological and pedagogical essence of motivation in the educational process. The concept of motivation is examined through its historical development, theoretical interpretations, and contemporary relevance in modern educational settings. Special attention is given to intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, strategies for enhancing learner engagement, and age-appropriate motivational techniques.
