This article presents the basics of preschool education, which covers the period from 3 to 7 years, its importance in the ontogenesis of the child's mental development, as well as the fact that during preschool education, the child's interest in studying the adult world and the world around him increases. In addition, the article analyzes the intensive development of a number of cognitive processes during preschool education, the rapid development of higher mental functions such as attention, thinking, memory, imagination and other cognitive processes.
