CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TRANSLATION OF FIXED PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS

This article examines the peculiarities of the translation process of fixed phraseological units. Linguistic and cultural barriers encountered in translating phraseological units into another language, the problem of searching for their equivalents, and methods of ensuring artistic and functional equivalence are analyzed. During the research, the methods used in the process of translation of phraseological units, through which the issues of interdependence of language and culture are considered. The article is aimed at providing scientific and practical recommendations on the translation of phraseological units.
